Every year KOREKTHO usually hosts two fundraising parties to
raise money to help the children of Thomonde, Haiti. The first
party of this year was on Saturday, March 15,
2008 at the usual location in Boston,
Massachusetts - New England USA. This year, things are moving to a more hopeful
speed. There was with a
raffle drawn at the party. The prices were (1) a 32' Widescreen LCD/HDTV,
(2) a DVD Camcorder
and (3) a DVD/VCR Combo unit. Also, the participants
had the opportunity to congratulate
the newly elected and 4th President of KOREKTHO:
Mr. Roland
Cadichon - a native of Thomonde,
a humble man, and a man of honor. KOREKTHO is on the move! We feel that there is a
wave of good spirit that is moving the organization.
The cost of the admission tickets for the party was $20
USD for adults or $10 USD
for children. The
donation for the raffle ticket was $5USD. Below you can find some photos of last year party. More
